one 9-inch pastry shell

1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine


Place flour, pecans, sugar, and butter in a 9-inch pie plate; do not stir. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes. Stir mixture to blend well. Firmly press mixture into bottom and sides of a lightly greased 9-inch pie plate. Cool.
