Mustard Sauce

Ingredients

1 cup half-and-half
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
1 egg yolk, well beaten
2 tablespoons dry mustard
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon salt

Preparation

Combine all ingredients in top of a double boiler; beat with a wire whisk until blended . Cook over warm water, stirring constantly , 1 hour or until slightly thickened. Serve warm or cold.
