Mulled Cranberry Sipper Recipe

32 ounces cranberry juice
2 qt. water
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice
4 (5-inch) cinnamon sticks
1 tablespoon whole cloves
1 cup orange juice
Garnish: lemon rind twists


Bring cranberry juice, water, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon sticks, and cloves to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium, and simmer, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes. Discard solids; stir in orange juice. Serve warm or cold. Garnish, if desired.
