Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Combine next 4 ingredients; stir well. Add to creamed mixture alternately with flour, beginning and ending with flour. Chill dough for 2 hours.
Roll dough out onto a lightly floured surface to 1/2-inch thickness; cut out with 2 1/2-inch heart-shaped cookie cutter. Place on lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375° for 8 minutes or until lightly browned.
