Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together into a large mixing bowl. Combine milk and eggs; add to flour mixture, and stir well. Stir in 1/4 cup melted butter.
Spoon batter into well-greased miniature muffin pans, filling two-thirds full. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Brush tops with melted butter.
