1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon lime juice, divided
Coarse salt
1 1/2 ounces tequila
3/4 ounce Triple Sec
1 teaspoon sugar
Crushed ice
Lime wedge (optional)


Dip rim of cocktail glass in 1 tablespoon lime juice; dip in a shallow dish of coarse salt to coat rim of glass.

Combine remaining 1/4 cup lime juice, tequila, Triple Sec, and sugar in a small pitcher, mixing well. Pour mixture over crushed ice in prepared glass. Garnish with a lime wedge, if desired.
