Maple-Balsamic Dressing

This easy homemade balsamic vinaigrette gets it sweetness from both the balsamic vinegar and the maple syrup and a bit of tanginess from Dijon mustard. For best flavor, use pure maple syrup - not pancake syrup.


Makes 1 cup

1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
3 tablespoons maple syrup
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper


Whisk together all ingredients. Chill until ready to serve.
