King Mackerel Steaks With Tomato-Wine Sauce

6 (3/4-inch-thick) king mackerel steaks
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper


Rinse fish thoroughly in cold water; pat dry. Place on greased rack in a broiler pan. Brush surface of each fish steak with butter, and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and paprika. Broil 5 inches from heating element 5 minutes; turn steaks, and baste with Tomato-Wine Sauce. Broil an additional 5 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork. Serve immediately with remaining sauce.
