2 bunches green onions, chopped
1 scotch bonnet or habanero chile pepper, seeded and chopped*
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 tablespoons jerk seasoning blend**
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
Stir together all ingredients.
*6 jalapeno peppers, chopped but not seeded, may be substituted for 1 Scotch bonnet
** For testing purposes, we used Johnny's "Jamaica Me Crazy" Jerk Seasoning.
