Ingredients

1 whole chicken breast, skinned, boned, and cooked
1 (8-ounce) package slivered almonds
1/3 cup chopped green onion
1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1/8 teaspoon salt
Melba toast
Paprika

Preparation

Grind together chicken and almonds in a small mixing bowl, using coarse blade of a meat grinder. Stir in onion, mayonnaise, and salt.

Spread 1 teaspoon chicken mixture on each piece of melba toast. Broil just until thoroughly heated. Sprinkle with paprika, and serve hot.
