Herb And Garlic Breadsticks

Thinly slicing the bread loaf gives these breadsticks their extra crunch.

1 (8-ounce) loaf sourdough bread
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 1/2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder


Preheat broiler.

Slice bread in half lengthwise. Slice each half into 8 long sticks.

Combine olive oil, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder in a small bowl. Brush breadsticks evenly with oil mixture; place on a baking sheet.

Broil 1 to 2 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve immediately.
