Grape Wine Sauce

3/4 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 cup sweet red wine


Combine water, sugar, and cornstarch in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until clear and thickened; stir in wine. Reduce heat to medium; cook until well blended. Serve hot.
