Grape Filling

1 cup sugar
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup grape juice
1 cup water
1/2 cup lemon juice
2 tablespoons butter or margarine


Combine sugar, cornstarch, salt, grape juice, and water in a medium sauce pan, stirring well. Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat, and boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat; add lemon juice and butter, stirring until well blended.
