Granola

Choose sweet, delicate Tupelo honey for this healthy cereal.
Makes 10 cups

Ingredients

4 cups uncooked regular oats
1 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup whole almonds
1/2 cup sesame seeds
3/4 cup wheat germ
1 (3.5-ounce) can flaked coconut
1/2 cup honey
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons water
1 cup dried apricots, coarsely chopped
1 cup raisins

Preparation

Combine first 6 ingredients in a large bowl. Stir together honey, oil, and 2 tablespoons water; pour over oat mixture, tossing well. Spread mixture into a lightly greased 15- x 10-inch jellyroll pan.

Bake at 225° for 1 hour and 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.

Stir in apricot and raisins. Cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
