In a large bowl, blend together shortening and sugar. Add remaining ingredients; beat until dough is sticky. Spoon onto wax paper; wrap and refrigerate for several hours to overnight. Roll out dough 1/2-inch thick on a floured surface. Cut out shapes with floured cookie cutters; transfer to greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes, until edges are golden. Cool before frosting. Frost with Powdered Sugar Frosting. Sprinkle with sugar. Add jellybeans for eyes and mouth.
