24 corn tortillas
Vegetable oil
Salt to taste

Preparation

Cut each tortilla into four 2- inch squares. Heat oil to 390° in a Dutch oven. Fry tortillas, a few at a time, until crisp and golden brown, turning frequently. Drain. Sprinkle with salt to taste.
