Fresh Tomato Salsa

Make Ahead. Seeding the tomatoes prevents the salsa from being watery. To seed a tomato, cut it in half horizontally and scoop out the seeds with a spoon.

Ingredients

3 cups tomato, seeded and diced (about 3 large)
1/2 cup diced red onion
3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and diced

Preparation

1. Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl. Let stand 30 minutes before serving.
