French Huguenot Chocolate Pie

1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 1/2 (1-ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Dash of salt
1 unbaked (9-inch) pastry shell


Combine first 8 ingredients; beat 5 minutes at medium speed of electric mixer. Pour into pastry shell. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350°; bake 40 minutes. Cool.
