Frankfurters With Condiments

12 beef frankfurters
12 frankfurter buns
Prepared mustard
1 cup sweet pickle relish
1 medium onion, chopped
1 (8-ounce) package extra sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 (15 1/2-ounce) can chili without beans (optional)


Grill frankfurters over hot coals, turning frequently, until browned.

Spread buns with small amounts of mustard, mayonnaise, and catsup. Add frankfurters; top with small amounts of pickle relish, onion, and cheese. Heat chili thoroughly, and spoon over frankfurters, if desired.
