Delta Pear Cake

Sunset
Chunks of fresh pear make this dessert as moist as applesauce cake. It's a favorite of Vicki Vermeer, who acquired the recipe from Sarah Simpson of Simpson Ranch, a pear farm in the Sacramento Delta.
