Crudites with Creamy Anchovy Dip

1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 (2-ounce) can anchovies, drained and finely chopped
1 hard-cooked egg, chopped
4 green onions, finely chopped
1 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt


Stir together all ingredients. Cover and chill 8 hours. Serve with fresh asparagus, carrots, celery, red and green bell pepper strips, and radishes.
