Creamed Chicken

1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups milk
2 1/2 cups cooked chopped chicken
2 tablespoons chopped pimiento
1/4 teaspoon paprika


Melt butter in a heavy saucepan over low heat; add flour, stirring until smooth. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add milk; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is thickened and bubbly. Stir in chicken, pimiento, and paprika.
