Cream Cheese Frosting

2/3 cup tub-style light cream cheese, chilled
1 1/4 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 1/2 cups powdered sugar


Beat cream cheese and vanilla in a large bowl at medium speed of a mixer until smooth. Gradually add sugar; beat at low speed until smooth (do not overbeat). Cover and chill.
