Chunky Black Bean Salsa

Stir in a can of black beans to a fresh tomato salsa and serve with tortilla chips for an easy appetizer.
Makes 6 cups (serving size: 1/2 cup)

3 tomatoes, seeded and chopped
1 (15-ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and diced
1/2 small sweet onion, chopped
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1/2 teaspoon grated lime rind
3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
Baked tortilla chips


Combine first 9 ingredients in a bowl. Cover and chill until ready to serve. Serve with baked tortilla chips.
