Chocolate Frosting

frosting for one 8-inch square pan of brownies

1 cup sifted powdered sugar
2 tablespoons half-and-half
1 tablespoon cocoa
1 tablespoon butter or margarine


Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan; cook over low heat until mixture boils around edge of pan. Remove from heat; beat at medium speed of an electric mixer until desired spreading consistency is reached.
