Chocolate-Bourbon Frosting

1 egg, beaten
3 tablespoons bourbon
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup butter or margarine
2 (1-ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
2 1/2 cups sifted powdered sugar


Combine egg, bourbon, lemon juice, and vanilla in a small mixing bowl; stir until well blended. Set aside.

Cream butter in a medium mixing bowl; add chocolate, and beat until blended. Gradually add sugar to chocolate mixture alternately with bourbon mixture, beating until mixture is smooth.
