2 cups sugar
1 tablespoon cornmeal
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Beat eggs with a wire whisk or fork; add next 3 ingredients, mixing well. Stir in lemon juice and vanilla; pour into prepared pastry shell. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350°, and bake an additional 30 minutes.
