1/2 cup low-fat milk
2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
1/4 cup (1 ounce) shredded reduced-fat sharp Cheddar cheese
1/8 teaspoon salt
Combine milk and flour in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly. Add cheese and salt, stirring until cheese melts.
Note: Serve with fresh apple wedges.
