- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 cups diced sweet onions
- 2 cups diced Granny Smith apples
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat; add onions, and sauté 10 minutes or until golden. Stir in apples; sauté 10 minutes or until caramel colored. Remove from heat; stir in salt and freshly ground pepper.
