Makes 1 cup

1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1 1/2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
1 shallot, minced
1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon capers, coarsely chopped
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil


Whisk together first 9 ingredients in a small bowl, or shake in a jar with a tight lid. Add oil; whisk or shake until blended.
