These crispy croutons add crunch and earthiness to soups and salads. Any firm bread will work here. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.

5 cups 1-inch cubed French bread (about 5 ounces)
3 tablespoons salted butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine cubed French bread, melted butter, and salt. Bake in preheated oven until golden, about 15 minutes. Let cool completely.
