Broiled Trout

Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter, melted
4 freshwater trout fillets (about 1 pound)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
1/4 teaspoon dried whole basil
Lemon wedges (optional)

Preparation

Line a shallow baking pan with aluminum foil. Brush foil with melted butter. Place fish on foil; sprinkle with lemon juice, salt, and basil.

Broil fish 6 inches from heating element 5 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork. Transfer fish to a warm serving platter. Garnish with lemon wedges, if desired, and serve immediately.
