Broiled Ribs

4 pounds pork spareribs, cut into 4 serving-size pieces
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/4 cup molasses


Sprinkle both sides of spareribs with salt and pepper. Place ribs in a well-greased shallow roasting pan. Pour butter and molasses over ribs. Broil ribs 7 to 8 inches from heating element, 20 minutes on each side; baste frequently with pan drippings.
