The bold, straightforward flavors of garlic and crushed red pepper make this classic Mediterranean broccoli dish appealing to Aaron.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 6 cups broccoli florets (about 1 head)
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 3 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup water

Preparation

  1. Heat olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add broccoli, kosher salt, crushed red pepper, and sliced garlic. Sauté 2 minutes. Add 1/4 cup water. Cover, reduce heat to low, and cook for 2 minutes or until broccoli is crisp-tender.
