Broccoli Soup

4 1/2 cups milk
2 (10-ounce) packages frozen chopped broccoli, cooked and drained
8 sprigs fresh parsley
1/4 cup chopped celery leaves
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
2 thin slices onion
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Additional celery leaves


Combine all ingredients, except additional celery leaves, in container of an electric blender; process until smooth. Pour mixture into top of a double boiler; cook over simmering water until thickened. Serve hot; garnish with additional celery leaves.
