Bourbon Sauce

1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup bourbon


Combine butter and sugar in a heavy saucepan; bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat; cook 5 minutes or until sugar completely dissolves. Stir in bourbon. Serve immediately over pie slices.
