Blueberry Sauce

1 1/2 cups

1/3 cup sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup hot water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries, thawed and drained
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened


Combine sugar, flour, and salt in a small saucepan. Gradually add hot water and lemon juice, stirring until combined. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened. Stir in blueberries, and cook 2 to 3 additional minutes. Remove from heat; add butter, and stir until butter melts. Serve warm over soufflé.
