This dressing is a perfect match for Black and Blue Salad. If you don't have buttermilk on hand, you could substitute an equal amount of plain yogurt thinned with a little milk. You could also make your own buttermilk by stirring together milk with a little bit of lemon juice or white vinegar and letting stand 5 to 10 minutes. It's also not a bad idea to make a double (or triple or quadruple) batch of this dressing to use with chicken, on sandwiches, or on more steak salads.
Serves 2 (serving size: 3 tablespoons)
1. Combine first 3 ingredients; stir with a whisk. Stir in cheese.
