Balsamic-Pesto Salad

1/2 cup pine nuts
1 (0.5-ounce) package pesto sauce mix
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
3 tablespoons olive oil
8 cups mixed salad greens


Bake pine nuts in a shallow pan at 350°, stirring occasionally, 5 to 10 minutes or until toasted; set aside.

Combine sauce mix and next 3 ingredients in a jar; cover tightly, and shake vigorously. Pour over salad greens, tossing to coat. Sprinkle with pine nuts, and serve immediately.
