Bar manager Aom Aphiradi Lee mixes this drink at La Mar Cebicheria Peruana in San Francisco.
Makes 1 cocktail
1. In a cocktail shaker, muddle strawberries and basil leaves until berries are mashed.
2. Add pisco, lemon juice, 1/2 to 3/4 oz. simple syrup (depending on how sweet you like your drinks), and ice. Shake, then strain into a chilled martini glass.
3. Top with wine and garnish with a small basil sprig.
