Sweetened with maple syrup and studded with dried cherries and sliced almonds, this pantry staple is easy to customize. Try dried blueberries, cranberries, or even apples, and maybe even a little flaxseed for fiber. Or toss with fresh berries before serving.
Serves 12 (serving size: about 1/2 cup)

3 cups uncooked old-fashioned rolled oats
1 1/2 cups sliced almonds
1/2 cup coarsely chopped dried cherries
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
Cooking spray


Total: 50 Minutes

1. Preheat oven to 300°.

2. Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl. Drizzle syrup over oat mixture, stirring to coat completely.

3. Spread mixture on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Bake at 300° for 35 minutes or until golden and crisp, stirring every 10 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack, and cool completely in pan. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
