Learn what to do to a peach so that the skin slides right off.1. To skin a peach, first cut an “X” in the bottom of each peach, carefully cutting just through the skin.2. Bring water to a boil in a large saucepan, and drop the peaches with a slotted spoon into the boiling water. Cook for 20 seconds to 1 minute—just until the skins loosen a little bit.  The riper the peaches are, the less time they need. 3. Remove the peaches from the water with a slotted spoon, and place them in a bowl filled with ice water.4. Remove peaches from the water, and use your fingers to remove the skins, which should slip right off. Get the Recipe: Peach Cobbler
