Enjoy creamy low-fat mashed potatoes using these convenience products.

  • Frozen Mashed Potatoes: Add fat-free milk, and cook in the microwave for 6 to 8 minutes for 4 servings.
  • Refrigerated Mashed  Potatoes: Keep these potatoes in the container, and heat in the microwave at HIGH 3 minutes. Stir and microwave 1 minutes. A 1-pound, 4-ounce container makes 4 (2/3-cup) servings.
  • Dehydrated (Instant) Mashed Potatoes: Bring water and margarine (or butter) to a boil in a saucepan or microwave-safe dish. Remove from heat, and add fat-free milk. Stir in potato flakes, and let stand 1 to 2 minutes until flakes are moist. Whip with a fork.
