One Spooky Dessert

If you're looking for a spooky dessert for your Halloween party, look no further. How about an edible cemetery--complete with tombstones and pumpkins?

You've probably had this dessert before. You may know it as Dirt Pudding: an easy, quick classic that everyone loves. You really can't go wrong with Dirt Pudding. It's cream cheese pudding with alternating layers of crushed cream-filled chocolate cookie sandwiches, which have a cake-like texture after sitting in the pudding while in the refrigerator. It's the kind of dessert you can scoop and dump into a bowl and enjoy every last bite.

Switch up Dirt Pudding this Halloween by making this Cemetery Cookie Dessert from Gooseberry Patch. Layer the pudding and cookies in a rectangle dish instead of a large bowl. Create some tombstones out of extra sandwich cookies and arrange them across the top. Don't forget to add some candy pumpkins! I think some chocolate trees or marshmallow ghosts would make a great addition too.

I have many memories of making Dirt Pudding with my mom when I was younger, so definitely get your kids in the kitchen to help you make this spooky treat! It's fun for all ages, and it's even more fun to eat.
