Crispy Easter Nests

Crispy Easter Nests

Easter is THIS SUNDAY, can you believe it? So this week we'll be featuring specific recipes and tips to get you ready for this Sunday. With only seven ingredients, and two of which you probably already have hiding out in your cupboards, this particular Easter treat is such an easy way to delight guests this Sunday. If you take a good look at the photo, you'll see those pretty flecks of green grass... Yep, those are just coconut flakes tossed in some green food coloring! Genius, right?

After you spoon in the mixture, to make it easier to form the cereal into a good shape you can put the muffin cups in a muffin tin to press the rice crispy and marshmallow mixture against the sides. To polish off this festive treat, we filled our rice crispy nests with colorful Jordan almonds which look just like Easter eggs! If chocolate is more your thing, you can of course substitute the candied almonds for M&M's or any festive treat of choice.
