Creamy Peanut Butter Pie

Sometimes you just need a slice of pie. Maybe you're just craving something sweet, or you need to have a mini celebration because it's Friday. Either way, this Creamy Peanut Butter Pie is the way to go. It's quick, requires minimal prep work, and then you just chill it in your refrigerator. Easy as pie!

This recipe actually makes two pies. One for you, and one for later. Or you could give one to a neighbor or friend. Either way, if you're a peanut butter lover, this is the pie of your dreams.

The peanut butter filling is basically cream cheese, powdered sugar, peanut butter, and unsweetened condensed milk. It's then folded with whipped topping, which completes that dreamy and luxurious texture. With only five ingredients to mix together, this pie really can't get any easier. The recipe also calls for two pre-made pie crusts, so all you have to do is pour the filling into the crusts. The most difficult part of this process is simply waiting for the pies to chill in your refrigerator for eight hours.

Chilling the pies will result in a thick, yet soft texture, but the recipe also notes that it's just as delicious when frozen. Freezing the pie will give the filling more of an "ice cream pie" texture instead, so you could go either way.
