Superfine sugar dissolves more quickly that regular granulated sugar. To use regular sugar, you'll need to make it finer, which you can do simply by grinding regular sugar in the food processor until fine. Measure the sugar for your recipe after grinding. The recipe pictured below for Sugared Cranberriesis an example of a recipe that uses superfine sugar.
