 I can never decide how many garlic cloves to use because they are all such different sizes. If a recipe calls for two cloves of garlic, but my garlic is huge, should I still use two cloves? 

Here's a handy guideline for you: two cloves of garlic, when chopped or minced, should equal 1 teaspoon.
