A few weeks ago, we had the opportunity to witness the awesome-ness that is the National Gingerbread House Competition at the Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville, North Carolina. Entries had to be completely edible (minus the base) and were judged on overall appearance, originality and creativity, difficulty, precision, and consistency of theme. We were blown away by the talent and attention to detail displayed at this event!
